SEAL BEACH - A Time to Remember! A parade and festival on the
green belt in the center of old town Seal Beach will be The Joy Zone for
one day. Visitors rode a roller coaster called The Derby in 1915 at the
Joy Zone on the beach and watched scintillator lights at the end of the
pier. Watch a parade march around the greenbelt with many participants
and listen to bands on two stages with rotating groups playing a variety
of selections and seeing singers and dancers perform. Inflatable bounce
houses for the children, puppet shows and food booths will be there for
the whole family to enjoy. A sidewalk sale sponsored by the Chamber of
Commerce will be in full swing. The Red Car Museum will be open allowing
celebrants to see the Seal Beach historic displays and look at the
photos taken of the Joy Zone in 1915. Just imagine arriving in the Red
