January Calendar
January is a time to mellow out, reflect, and slow down ever so slightly for the upcoming, hefty schedule of events that people face for the next year. The big launch in January is January 1 (New Year's Day) with the launch of one of the most viewed television broadcasts, Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena. In over 100 years, there's only been rain once or twice at this event, and the locals say they have an inside track to the keeping it sunny for the world to enjoy images they expect to see of sunny, Southern California in the heart of its warm, palmy winters.  Country Bluegrass, Fiddlers Music Festival, Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade, Napa Mustard Festival,  Whale Watching
