This annual event features Pacific Pinball Exposition (PPE)
which showcases vintage and antique electromechanical and purely
mechanical pinball machines and arcade games and devices. There
will also be a healthy dose of modern machines to balance it
out. It is our goal to bring a broader awareness of the fun and
nostalgia, as well as the significance pinball has played in
American and world culture through fun, interactive exhibits,
clinics and lots of hands on playing of games that defined
"Amusement" in the 20th century!
More than 250 vintage and modern games are available for free
play as well as many fun and interactive events and activities!
The show is appropriate for the whole family and promises to
offer something for everyone. If you're capable of having fun,
this show is for you!
This show sets the style for pinball shows to come. It features
hundreds of vintage machines and amusement devices from the
1930's to 2007 highlighting their historical and cultural
significance and honoring their impact on
America. With an emphasis on vintage machines, we have a
smorgasbord of rare games and a healthy stable of modern pins
that are all ready for play. The Pacific Pinball Exhibition will
feature exhibits on the History of Pinball,
the Science and Physics of Pinball, the Evolution of the game
and its mechanisms. Special presentations will be offered on the
Artists and the process of screening and designing the artwork,
circuitry design and logic, and, of course, the secrets of
Pinball Wizardry, all in the beautiful setting of the world
famous Marin Civic Center in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Proceeds from this event go to the Neptune Beach Amusement
Museum, a 501 c 3 Non Profit focused on creating a Museum for
pinball and amusement machines.
